Doc Fick received his professional Broadcast Training at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in London, UK, and has performed radio and training assignments in more than 30 cities and countries from India to Monte Carlo, Nairobi to the Netherlands, and Belfast to Angola.
His radio experience varied from on-air presentation; production; feature-making, content development, and station management. His radio journey includes broadcast activities for international radio; the public broadcaster (SABC); commercial radio (Capital 604); and community media.
In the last decade, Doc Fick devoted his career to skills development and knowledge transfer. Doc Fick holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg.
